Co-organisation and tutoring of a Community-engaged Architectural Design Learning dissertation studio at the KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture (in collaboration with Prof. dr. Burak Pak) linked to the Solidary Mobile Housing (SMH) and WoonBox (WBX) projects.

In the context of this studio, ten architecture students, along with the other SMH and WBX partners, collectively considered the opportunities and threats for the future upscaling of these projects. As such, the studio offered a platform for collective reflection on temporary housing and inclusive collective spaces in Brussels on a long-term horizon using a ‘transition design’ approach.

The output was a series of ten complete research-by-design dissertations, exploring the different aspects and potential paths for the future, in a theoretical and designerly way.
